Airease

Your model and serial number will be located on a sticker attached to an exterior panel on most air conditioning products or located on an inside panel on most furnaces. Your model number will resemble a series of letters and number, i.e. (SCU10E36A-1A or G1D93AU100D20-1A).

Your serial number will resemble one of the following examples: 15A67JA098, C89274AAC, or 8495A12345.

Serial Number format:  1602J39640

(This serial number was transcribed from an actual unit during a home inspection).

Using the third, fourth and fifth digits of the serial number 1602J39640 you will find the year and month of manufacture.  The third and fourth digits are the year and the fifth digit (always a letter) is the month of manufacture.  This unit was manufactured in September, 2002.
